Come and join an eclectic and energetic mix of current and future leaders of the vitreoretinal surgery academic field along with a dyanmic group of vitreoretinal specialists in private practice in Chicago for a lively and interactive update with panel discussions on current management trends as well as new and exciting developments in the medical and surgical retina fields.
Spend the rest of the weekend exploring beautiful Chicago at its best time of the year and enjoy all that the city has to offer from sight seeing to great dining, shopping, art museums, theatre and much more.
The meeting will be held in the the conference facilities of Chicago's recently opened, newest and biggest luxury hotel the JW Marriott in the Millenuim Park/Loop area adjacent to the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower..!) America's tallest building, with original architecture designed by world renowned architect Daniel Burnham. Special room rates may be available to attendees on a first come first serve basis. The G8/NATO summit is being held in Chicago during that time and room reservations are tight so consider booking early.
Content and topic selection is structured to address the interests of a varying audience of Eye Care Professionals including Retina Specialists, General Ophthalmologits, Optometrists and other Eye Care Professionals as well as Ophthalmology Residents and Medical and Surgical Retina Fellows (all Chicago area programs Ophthalmology Residents and Medical and Surgical Retina Fellows are welcome to attend at no charge).
For the inaugural meeting space will be limited to 120 attendees. Each attendee may be eligible for up to 8.50 hours of category I CME credits.
